The past two weeks have truly embodied that idea of 'time is an illusion' for me.

I have not accurately known the day of the week or the date since last week and I feel like I am constantly playing catch up. Anyone else?

In spite of that the world continues to turn and we can tell by how dark it is getting outside. As I'm writing this is a cold and dreary Thursday night, perfect for wearing my coziest pajamas and catching up on a good book.

This week on the podcast, well, kind of went off the rails.

I started this week as scheduled, a quick look at how to keep yourself feeling some heat and fire internally while these days get darker and colder.

And then... it took a turn.

I needed to do another meditation, if only for me, about how to go on during the metaphorically dark days, and then today's discussion about how and why we need to keep moving forward and what we're fighting for.

I don't have any workbook pages today, it wasn't the week for it, but here's what to take action on this week.

  1. Act courageously. Do something this week that will make you feel powerful just by doing it.
  2. Get Curious. What are you doing in your life that makes you feel more powerful? What in your life feels like it steals your power away?
  3. Gossip! Gossip used to be a noun, it meant a group of women who gathered together, The gossip is headed down to the tavern.... Regain your female power by getting your GOSSIP together. LEARN MORE HERE!
  4. Bring the Fire. Add a sprinkle of instant fire to your coffee in the morning to remind you you're alive!

Fire In Your Belly Coffee

  • 1 Tbsp Sugar - your favorite sweetener will do to keep you kind to yourself
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon - earthy flavors to keep you grounded
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper - a little heat to keep you fired up all day

As always my friend, and more than ever, I am grateful you are here and I just hope I can bring a small amount of lightness to your day.
